American Literature

American Literature is a graduation-required literature and composition course, in which students challenge their understanding of what America is, who is Americans are, and how America has come to be.

Thanksgiving Readings

Here's a link to the Puritan and Native American perspective pieces that we read, and annotated, that some asked for. Essentially we discussed how the founding of Thanksgiving differed from the respective parties, and reflected about what that difference demonstrated about their view of social structures.
