Today we will begin our fairy tale unit in earnest. We will read the very start of the introduction to "Snow White" on page 74-75, will watch the 7 minute Max Fleisher version of "Betty Boop in Snow White," and then will complete some small group analysis of the three (non-Brothers Grimm) versions of the Snow White stories using the stages presented in the introduction.
HW: Complete the analysis for the two stories not completed in class, and finish reading the introduction, pages 74-80.

"Little Red Riding Hood" (LRRH). Besides reading the introduction and completing some in-class analysis of the tales, we will look at a Tex Avery version of the fairy tale, a Bugs Bunny version, and a scene from R. Shyamalan's "The Villiage"
