Syllabus for Week of April 27
FAIRY TALE, FABLE, OR MYTH? How do we come to learn the foundational stories that shape our worldview? Which story from your childhood did you most identify with? And why that story? Did that story shape you as a person, or did you choose the story that best fit with who you inherently are? As we transition into a study of fairy tales, we will explore the stories that helped you become you.
Monday
- Meeting in 377-North. What is the lesson of the porter and the three ladies in the context of Shahrazade's telling of the story to King Shahrear?
