After reading your claim aloud to the other members of your research circle, you should revise your claim. Remember that your claim should be several sentences that a) presents the most important thing to know about your novel, and b) what you realize about the novel and America as a result. Once revised, post your claim as a comment to this blog post. Finally, once your claim is posted, read ALL other claims that students post. For at least five students not in your research circle, post a question about their claim.
