Your paper should be an argumentative research paper that develops a claim (a debatable thesis) that has emerged from your research, and of course, your novel. You are to write a multi-genre paper. You MUST quote (i.e.: cite directly from) you novel, a short story, and a poem. In addition, you should quote from three different types of sources. So your final "works cited" page will have at least 6 different types of sources. In total, the final draft will be 7-10 pages long. That does NOT include works cited or bibliography page. First draft is due Friday.

I want you to leave for Spring Break with a first draft done.
