Monday

• No school for Columbus Day holiday.
• HW: Finish reading chapter one of The Ramayana, "Rama's Initiation."

Tuesday

• Discussion on chapter three, "Two Promises Revived." 
• HW: Read chapter four, "Encounters in Exile." 
  

Wednesday

• No class on account of PSAT and PLAN tests.
• Read chapter five, "The Grand Tormentor."

Thursday

• Discussion of chapters four and five. We will also have at least three students read their monomyth essays aloud.
• HW: Read chapters six, "Vali."

Friday

• Discussion of chapter six. We will have additional students read their monomyth essays aloud.
• HW: Reading "When the Rains Cease," and "Memento from Rama," chapters seven and eight.
